The NAD CS1 is a compact and minimalist designed network streamer that offers a wide range of connection options. With line-level analog RCA outputs, the CS1 can be connected to a stereo receiver, integrated amplifier, preamplifier or active speakers. For digital audio outputs, both optical and coaxial outputs are available, making it possible to connect the CS1 to an AV receiver, external DAC or speakers with digital inputs, at up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution.

The CS1 can be easily integrated into your home network via Wi-Fi or the LAN Ethernet port. In addition, you can use Bluetooth to pair the CS1 with your mobile device for quick and easy streaming.

Stream Your Way

The NAD CS1 makes streaming music simple and versatile. No need to install special apps to play music through the CS1. Bluetooth lets you stream audio from any app on your smartphone, tablet or computer. For even better sound quality, you can use Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

With AirPlay 2 you can stream CD-resolution audio from an iPhone, iPad or Mac, or from an iTunes library on a Windows PC. Chromecast allows you to choose music from a Cast-compatible app on a mobile device or PC and stream it to the CS1 at up to 24-bit/96kHz resolution.

Spotify and Tidal subscribers can play music in these services' apps and then transfer playback to the CS1. Roon subscribers can stream music from their digital libraries and from supported streaming services.

Premium Sound

The NAD CS1 features an advanced digital section based on the PCM5142 DAC from Texas Instruments. This DAC is known for its wide dynamic range, low noise floor and insensitivity to clock jitter. The CS1 supports resolutions up to 24-bit/192kHz and has MQA pass-through support for both digital outputs. This allows full decoding and rendering by a compatible external DAC for playback of Master Quality Authenticated music.
