KEF's LS50 Wireless II is a wireless high-performance speaker that is a true all-rounder thanks to wireless compatibility, an enhanced KEF app and extensive connectivity options.

The ultimate wireless Hi-Fi speakers

However you stream your music, the LS50 Wireless II is ready for it. You can stream directly from the Spotify app with Spotify Connect. The latest KEF Connect app also lets you stream from Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz and Deezer, or tune into your favorite Internet stations or podcasts. Out-of-the-box wireless compatibility includes AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast, also connect via HDMI cable for your TV and other connections for your turntable, CD player and gaming console. Whatever source you choose, the LS50 Wireless II is right up to the task.

When using the LS50 Wireless II with Airplay2, Chromecast or Roon, you can stream simultaneously to multiple speakers in different rooms. By using multiple LS50 Wireless II speakers, or, for example, by adding the KEF LSX II, you can create a simple and high-quality multiroom system.

Acoustic Performance

The KEF LS50 Wireless II will please even the most seasoned audiophile. You can stream music files up to 24 bit/384 kHz, as well as MQA, DSD, and the speakers are Roon Ready. You can choose to connect the speakers completely wirelessly, which allows a resolution of 24 bit/96 kHz. If you use the included cable, or even better an Audioquest network cable, the highest quality of 24 bit/192 kHz becomes available. Despite its compact size, the KEF LS50 Wireless II has a frequency range starting at 45Hz. If you still want to add more bass, you can always purchase the KEF KC62 subwoofer. This unique subwoofer is specifically designed to be added to KEF wireless speakers and, if needed, can also be connected completely wirelessly with the KEF KW-1wireless subwoofer adapter.

Innovative KEF technology

A truly revolutionary tool in KEF's acoustic arsenal is Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™). MAT is a high-complex maze-like structure that absorbs 99% of the sound at the rear of the driver. The elimination of unwanted distortions leads to a more pure and natural sound.

For the development of the 12th-generation Uni-Q, KEF engineers used advanced simulation and analysis tools. This new driver array produces less coloration, less distortion and a sound that is more transparent and alive than ever before. And all of this is evenly distributed throughout the room.

The performance of the LS50 Wireless II is aided by KEF's unique Music Integrity Engine, a state-of-the-art collection of specially developed Digital Signal Processing algorithms optimized for the new Uni-Q with MAT driver, enabling perfectly synchronized playback. The result is unadulterated and tight.

The built-in amplifiers have been developed in-house by KEF. Each tweeter is driven by a 100W Class A/B amplifier that guarantees smooth and unprecedentedly detailed treble. A dedicated 280W Class D amplifier powers the mid/bass drivers, for room-filling but controlled sound up to 108 dB.
