The NAD CI 720 V2 is a versatile stereo streamer designed for rack-based audio systems, ideal for both residential and commercial applications. With its unique "blade" form factor, six modules can be mounted on the RM 720 rack kit, resulting in six stereo zones in only 3U rack space. This saves 50% of rack space compared to traditional size stereo streamers.

Innovative Design

The CI 720 V2 uses NAD's Hybrid Digital Technology, specifically a custom Hypex UcD output stage that delivers 2x60W at 8 ohms. This technology provides reliable power, ultra-low distortion and high current output, ideal for longer cable runs and thick cables. It is load-independent, which means it can handle 4 ohm as easily as 8 ohm loads. This ensures consistent, linear sound that is clear, detailed and dynamic regardless of volume level.

Advanced Cooling and Reliability

Each unit is thermostatically cooled with an air intake at the front to draw in cool air and distribute it through the rear vents. This ensures that the CI 720 V2 continues to operate reliably even in the most challenging rack environments. In addition, the design provides redundancy; if one unit fails, the other zones remain operational, allowing users to enjoy their music in the rest of the building.

Extended Connectivity

The CI 720 V2 has dedicated analog and digital inputs, and connectivity can be expanded via the Bluesound HUB. Each module also has a subwoofer output and can be paired wirelessly over the network with a Bluesound PULSE SUB+. There is also an IR input for basic control, and commands can be learned from any third-party remote via the IR learning feature within the BluOS Controller app.

BluOS Multi-Room Streaming

The BluOS Controller app lets you stream music from more than 20 popular music services in resolutions up to 24/192. You can also cast directly from a mobile device via Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect or Tidal Connect. The BluOS app can manage all external inputs and player groups in an intuitive layout that is easy to use.

Smart Home Integration

Smart Home Professionals can integrate the CI 720 V2 and other BluOS devices with all major operating systems, allowing music access and playback capabilities to be managed in multiple ways.
