What makes this Audioquest Yukon RCA audio cable unique and sets it apart from the other cables in the Audioquest River and Elements series is the use of silver-finished connectors and Polyethylene Air-Tubes. After all, any solid material adjacent to a conductor is in fact part of a non-perfect circuit. Cable insulation and circuit board materials absorb energy (loss). Some of this energy is stored and released again as deformation. Because the air in the Polyethylene Air-Tubes absorbs virtually no energy, Polyethylene has virtually no loss or distortion, leading to audible differences in quality. The packaging of the Audioquest River and Elements cables always contains two separate cables, which makes these Audioquest Yukon cables suitable when connectors on devices are further apart. The Audioquest Yukon is available as standard in lengths from 0.5m to 6m or customized to 10m and more.
