It is with great pleasure that we introduce the DALI MENUET - a small but powerful loudspeaker that displays great musicality and sets new standards for the sound and performance of a compact loudspeaker. As a concept, the DALI MENUET is a compact bass reflex loudspeaker measuring only 25 x 15 x 23 centimeters. And although it is based only on an 11.5cm woofer and a 28mm soft dome tweeter it succeeds with flying colors. Listen to these brilliantly tiny speakers and you'll hear more than enough clean and undistorted low end, an open and dynamic midrange and clear, detailed highs. For optimal performance, the DALI MENUET should be placed on a bookshelf, or against the wall with the optional wall bracket. With two screw holes on the back of the housing, it is prepared for hassle-free wall bracket mounting. The bracket is designed to provide an optimal distance between the wall and the bass reflex port. SPEAKER UNITS The 11.5cm woofer has optimized airflow to ensure the best possible coupling between the wood-fiber cone and the real wood veneer of the enclosure. Even the milled-out hole for the woofer is larger than usual to maximize openness and dynamic response. The extra-large 28mm soft dome tweeter can start and stop very quickly because of its low mass and powerful drive. The dome is about 30% lighter than comparable standard domes, and the magnet in the "motor" is made of the strongest Neodymium material available. The DALI-designed speaker units, sturdy connectors and high-quality crossover are key to the extraordinary performance of such a compact speaker.
