MC CADENZA BLACK

The Cadenza Black model uses a Nude Shibata stylus with a boron cantilever. The effective mass of the stylus/cantilever system is extremely low thanks to the use of a very thin boron rod. This material is exceptionally stiff and even lighter than aluminum.

It also uses the WRD/Wide Range Damping system used in the MC Windfeld, MC A90, MC Anna, Xpression and MC A95 cartridges, where the high and low frequency damping are controlled separately. The spool wire is the famous Ortofon Aucurum wire, a gold-coated 6NX copper wire. The Cadenza Black excels in areas such as detail, consistency and sound imaging.
