Wireless and Wired Connections

The Ampster BT II lets you stream your music directly from your smartphone, tablet or computer to the amplifier via Bluetooth. In addition, you can also connect your device with an AUX cable. The amp is equipped with digital and analog line inputs, a sub output and a USB charging port, giving you flexibility in how you play your music.

Automatic Standby and Multiroom Compatibility

One of the convenient features of the second-generation Ampster BT II is the automatic standby mode. The amplifier goes into standby when music via Bluetooth stops and automatically turns back on when you resume playback. Moreover, the Ampster BT II can be taken out of standby via the AUX mini-jack input, which means you can connect it to most multi-room or networked systems. For example, add a Chromecast Audio, AirPort Express or other Wi-Fi devices to the AUX input and the Tangent Ampster BT II will turn on as soon as you start playing over your network. Keep in mind that the Ampster must go into standby mode while the selected source is set to use the wake-up function. If it is manually turned off, the wake-up function via Bluetooth or AUX is not active.

By combining the Tangent Tuner II and CD II, you can enjoy a complete and compact Hi-Fi system with premium audio quality and performance. Each component - the Ampster BT II, Tuner II and CD II - is less wide than an A4 sheet of paper and only 7 cm high, making the system only 21 cm high when stacked. This compact size means the system takes up less space in the living room, kitchen or wherever you want to enjoy your music.

Easy Controllability with Remote Control

The remote for the Tangent Ampster BT II also controls the Tuner II and CD II, meaning that when all three components are stacked together or placed separately, each remote can be used to control all components. In addition, the second-generation Ampster BT also offers IR infrared input, allowing you to place the amplifier anywhere the remote control does not have direct reach. Simply place the included IR eye anywhere the remote can reach it and connect the cable to the external IR input on the back of the amplifier.
